Back from Spring Break!

I wish!  No, I did not take a spring break, but I did take a blogger break.  Why?  Not due to boredom, I'll just say that!

For starters, I have twins, did you forget?  And they are crazy.  Diana has started running while Lilly has started climbing (as in she can climb up an entire slide and has tried to climb over our baby gates.)  They also hate when I walk out of the room, talk on the phone, type on the computer, cook breakfast/lunch/dinner, fold laundry, or go pee.  I am being held hostage by 45 lbs. of solid baby fat and have no idea how to escape.  I have tried to escape to the loo, but their death grips on my legs and ear piercing shrieks have overcome my ability, and so I remain...with a full bladder....and a smiley face.  :(  Oh, is that not a smiley face?  Oops.

However, as well as being crazy, the girls are hilarious!  Their favorite thing in the world is to go outside and point out all the dogs, neighbors, cars, airplanes, birds, squirrels, etc.  When they want something, they say, "Uh uh uh" or "Dat."  Diana calls for Lilly all day long, "Ya Ya.  Ya Ya." If I ask them to bring me their favorite book, "Fluffy Scruffy", they will rummage through 100 books until they find it.  When you say, "Hello?", they put their hands to their ears as if they are answering the phone.  They have officially evolved from babies to toddlers!

Also, Diana has a boyfriend.  His name is J.J. and if I were 31 years younger, I would consider him a hunk. Until Di is old enough to read this blog I am not going to tell her that this boy actually pursued Lilly first, but she turned him down, so he moved onto the next best thing...her identical twin sister.  This boy is smart.  Where did Di meet this older 18 month old man?  Music class, of course.  He always flirts with Lil and Di at class, and today he went in for the kill.  He approached Lilly and offered up his most prized possession...his pacifier.  Lilly screamed and leashed out at him.  He then moved onto Diana and pulled out the big guns....a giant bear hug.  I was waiting for Diana to mimic her sister's reaction, but instead she grinned SO BIG and then let out a giant SQUEAL!!!  I swear she even blushed.  It's love, for sure.  Just don't tell daddy.

So what else have we been up to?  Ummm....let me think.  Oh that's right.  WE ARE MOVING!!!  If you are hearing it here first, I do apologize...my mind has been busy processing those 3 little words.  Oh yeah, and we've been busy planning.  Here are the deets:  we are moving to Jasper, Matt's job remains but territories change (to Bloomington and Evansville instead of Indy), we will sell our house and move into my parents' home.  Just a minor MAJOR lifestyle change!  This is a slightly bittersweet move.  I love Indy, love our new and old friends, love our family here, and love our house.  But, in Jasper awaits a GIANT loving family (as in almost 50 ppl) who are welcoming us with open arms, a house we are very attached to, and 11 (soon to be 12) cousins for Lilly and Diana to grow up with.  It is the latter of all these reasons that is the major motivation and the reason we pursued this move.  Matt and I are both thrilled for this new chapter in our lives!

This move will not happen immediately as we need to sell our house (know of anyone interested?) and renovate my parents' house...potentially a 5-6 month process.  This past weekend was spent cleaning it all out, a major feat, but surprisingly appeared minor THANKS TO ALL WHO HELPED!  I ALSO THANK MY IN-LAWS & MIN/WAGS FOR BABYSITTING L & D THIS PAST WEEKEND!

So, there you have it.  You are now granted with pics of my cute little munchkins.

Who am I?
And if you know her, then you should know who I am!

At my parents' house...such a wonderful sight to see life back in the house!  This will become a common scene...Thomas, Lilly and Lila on the wagon, Addie and Diana in the background.
I love Diana's sleeping position...always sleeps with her butt in the air and I finally captured it.
Di is off and running!
Lilly showing off her cute pigtails while cruising the sidewalk.
Like I said...Diana no longer walks, she runs!

Pumping some iron, er, wood.
"Hello everybody!  Hope you had a nice day at work!!"
Playing with sticks while barefoot on the sidewalk in front of our house next to a busy street.  Is there a problem?
D & L...this is what I found when I ventured up to capture a pic of Matt bathing the girls.
That's better.... :)
