Dear snow,
We love you...we love you not.
Sincerely,

If only they invented strollers with 4 wheel drive then maybe we could be venturing outdoors one of these days! I can't figure out exactly where we can go that doesn't require either a stroller or a cart to get into, because I just can't risk putting the girls in the car, getting somewhere, and then realize those wheels just don't move in all this snow! SOOO, what else is there to do when bored at home with two 11 month olds? Snap photos, go sledding and eat puffs (hot chocolate for me!)
Yesterday we spent our afternoon in the kitchen while I snapped some 'artistic' (the amateur form of artistic) shots of the girls, and today we spent the afternoon sledding in our own backyard! Or rather, I spent the afternoon putting 5 layers of clothes, hats, coats and boots on each super-squirmy girl (we spent more time dressing and undressing than we did outside!), strapped them into their sleds, right when we got outside the rope attached to Lilly's sled (which I was to pull her with) broke, so I configured it in such a way that it was cutting off the circulation in my arms, and I pulled 42+ lbs. of babies...back and forth...back and forth...through 6" of snow. Oh, and all the while whipping out my camera to snap some photos!! WAS IT ALL WORTH IT? Yes, yes it was. :) But I am tired!
Shots from our kitchen (BTW, I snapped more photos of Lil b/c the stinker woke up early from her nap! I tried to re-create everything with Diana when she was awake, but it was hard to pull her away form her sister!)
We love you...we love you not.
Sincerely,
Mom-of-twins-whose-means-of-survival-is-getting-out-of-the-house

SLEDDING
Ready for take-off!
1st time snow meets Lilly and Diana. They have seen each other, but never formally met. Watch out!
Diana
Lilly
It appears as if we are going down a hill, but I promise you we are not! (I wish!)
"We love the cold weather and 6" of freezing snow and watching mommy pull us back and forth, back and forth, back and forth....."
This is the last happy face you will see from Di...savor it!!
"Hey Di, it's okay...just because your shoe came off and your foot is probably frostbitten by now, there is no reason to cry about it!"
Di is slowly coming back to us...
Sledding footage (can you tell I am out of breath?!)
