For weeks I had been pondering what my next blog entry should be. I managed to skip right over Easter and the opportunity to showcase my girls in their Sunday best, and then there was the time that we changed to toddler beds and as a result have given up every single precious minute of nap time. Last week during one nap I caught Lilly in the play room drawing on the chalkboard. That same week I caught Diana hanging from her curtains, and today while in the kitchen I heard a small whisper "mommy. mommy." and found Lilly in her play high heels confessing she had pooped. All of these were blog-worthy and photo-capturing moments but I still found myself sitting idle at the computer not having the what?...motivation?...energy?...to blog about it.
I guess my unplanned blogging hiatus was all part of God's plan in an attempt to wow all 14 of my followers with my next explosive blog entry! And today is the day for that. And it all started with a pacifier. That damned pacifier that has cost me so many precious moments of sleep - my tots now are late to bed and early to rise - and mommy breaks - they no longer nap. That pacifier has haunted me from the day we got rid of them and based on this new development, just might haunt me for the rest of my life!

At the time it generated a lot of laughs and a few people said, "Send it to Ellen!" Well, today, a year and half later, I can say....ELLEN CAME CALLING!
Well, not really Ellen HERSELF, but someone from her show. And someone from NBC, msnbc, the TODAY show, Yahoo, the company who represents most "Videos gone Viral" including the now famous 'Charlie Bit My Finger' video, a couple of entertainment companies, and well over a handful of Japanese television stations. Oh and The Herald, our local newspaper.

I have absolutely no idea how overnight it went from having a couple thousand hits to now having well over 300,000! But I guess I know the answer to the question I posed two months ago, "Local Notoriety: What's Next?" Answer: Video Gone Viral.
