Diana, on the other hand, according to Dr. Leedy, was labeled as, "pretty much perfect." She weighs 16.7lbs (56%), 25 3/4" long (52%), and head circ. at 53%. Her weight has consistently stayed about a pound under Lil's, and when I told Dr. Leedy that I find that funny b/c she eats just as much as Lilly, she asked if Diana was the 'high energy' one. Ummm...why yes...yes she is. Apparently she burns more calories. :) Diana, when you read this later in life, we love your high energy and perfect proportions!
We followed our appointment with a HUGE errand to Target (to gather all necessities and more for next week's trip to Michigan) and then dinner at Applebee's where the girls sat in a high chair for the 1st time. We also fed them (baby food) to see if we could accomplish this in preparation for next week. They did great! We did get the go ahead to feed them table food, and we tried to have them eat a tiny bite of chicken which they both immediately spit out with a look of complete horror on their faces! I think we will stick to veggies and fruits for a while.
Lil sitting like a big girl in her high chair--patiently waiting for some yum yum!
Also, Rose sent some pics from our visit to GG Burger's while we were in Jasper:
"Hey Lil, let's go sneak a piece of GG Burger's delicious peach pie!!"
Sweet Lil
My fave pic of all time: Di snuggling with mommy..and Lil just chillin' next to us. :)
GG Burger with her grands and great-grands.
This pic has 2 stories: 1) that is a framed pic of the girls that I gave to grandma, and she said she had a shirt that matched the girls' outfits, so she put it on. Perfect match if you ask me! 2) Grandma asked Rose to take this picture, but they noticed my parents' Holy Cards were in the background, so they moved them. However, when Rose went to email this to me, she saw that my mom's still made it in there. Just a way of saying she was there with us too. Oh how I wish she was...
