The Bajorek Twins!: Showered with love...

...thanks to all our visitors this week!

WEDNESDAY: Aunt Rose came to visit on Wednesday and Thursday since she's spending a few weeks in Jasper helping out with Grandma Burger. She is always such a huge help and just adores the girls, so we love having her around!

Rose and I got creative and took the girls swimming in our own man-made pool...a Wabash Valley Produce cooler...the perfect size for 2 little munchkins! Or so we thought. The newlyweds, Mindy and Brady, also came to visit just in time to check out our white trash splash-fest!

"Lilly, I think mom and Rose tricked us. What kind of pool is this?"

"Whatever, I guess it's better than napping."

Simply cuteness

That evening my sorority sister/roommate in DC, Eileen, and her man 'friend' came to visit us before she jets off to Hong Kong for 2 years!! The girls will be almost 3 yrs. old by the time she returns! I didn't get a single pic of Eileen and the girls...probably b/c the girls ended up in the hands of Rose and her friends, the Browns, who took the girls for most of the night while the rest of us stayed up way too late and drank a bit too much. Matt and I paid for that at 3:30am when Lil decided to wake up, and then again at 4am when Di woke up, and then at 5:30am when...you get the point. This hating-to-sleep-on-tummy thing has got to stop, particularly on nights that we stay up past midnight. :)

THURSDAY: Jennifer, Allie and Caleb came to visit. I think it was great practice for what's to come since Jen is expecting her 3rd child in February! Allie and Caleb proved that they will be great older siblings...they LOVED playing with the girls.

FRIDAY ("ME-DAY"): I had lined up a new sitter who is from Brazil (the country) and had asked her to be at the house at noon so that I could run a few errands and then get my hair cut at 3:30. Well, all of a sudden our doorbell rang at 9am and there she was! She speaks excellent English but can totally see how she confused noon with 9! So, I was more or less FORCED out of the house for about 8 hrs. that day! Heaven. The best part? I actually had room in my cart at Target for more than a pack of gum. :)

SATURDAY: We had some surprise visitors - Tom, Cindy and Steph! Along with them, Mark, Steph and Cioci Becca stopped over as well. Bapa took the girls on a long walk that afternoon...these girls get VERY spoiled when he is around! Later that evening the entire group headed to Benihanas for dinner...and we also added Adam and his 1 yr. old guest, Charlie Schneider, to the group. Adam was (solo) babysitting for the evening. There is nothing quite like seeing Adam walk into a restaurant with a 1 yr. old in his arms while carrying a diaper bag. All 3 kiddos did great and we all had a very enjoyable dinner!

SUNDAY: Matt and I and the girls met J.T., Meredith and Maya at a sprinkler park near their condo, then hit up their (REAL) pool! We had so much fun splashing around and I think the girls really enjoyed the sprinkler park particularly. They were content as can be as we ran them under the water! I envision many trips to this park in our future when THEY will run US around!
