Changing the subject...let's talk about Friday and the fact that the second we put Diana down on the carpet at Babci and Dziadziu's house, she took off crawling. WHAT? She has definitely taken steps here and there, but it was like all that fuzzy softness on her knees is what she has been waiting for! So, we officially have ONE crawler! Remember how many times I said Di would crawl first? Way to go Lady Di! Mom was pulling for you on this one!

As for Saturday, we made the trip to Cleveland for the wedding (the groom's family and the Bajoreks are BFFs) and were so happy to meet up with cioci Mary Beth!! Being in the Secret Service (yeah, that's right...always "packing heat" as Matt says), she is a woman on the move and doesn't get a lot of time off. Well, she did this weekend so we took full advantage! She stayed back with me and the girls while the rest of the crew went to the ceremony. We didn't have sitters for the ceremony, but we DID have sitters for the reception...none other than the fabulous Adrienne and Dan Reed! {insert laughter} I can't say Adrienne's name without laughing. I try to, but I can't. This girl's a hoot! Anyway, they were so kind to drive 45 minutes after both had to work that day (and Dan had to work bright and early this morning) to spend the evening in a hotel room with my two little ladies. They said the girls did great! I only wish I had seen Dan and Adrienne taking the girls for a walk down the halls of each of the floors of the hotel. They realize how serious these girls are about their walks! Thank you, A & D!!

Here I caught Diana trying to pull up on the end table. She now only wants to be crawling or pulling up!
Can you see the fear in their eyes?! Hahaha...
And now about the wedding. I mentioned the bride is an Ohio State fan. Well, so is the groom. He is a big fan. "Die hard" I woud call him. So you can imagine the look on the bride and groom's faces when the wedding band started playing Hang On Sloopy (the official rock song of Ohio State football) and in walked 4 members of THE Ohio State University Marching Band. The groom's father had set the whole thing up, and I believe it was a surprise to every single person at the wedding. Being a Hoosier, I was deeply jealous of the enthusiasm as the entire crowd threw up their arms to form those annoying letters O-H-I-O! Admittedly, it was pretty awesome! We then marched behind the band on the dance floor as part of the famous Script Ohio and watched one of the members dot the 'i.' I was able to capture some footage for your viewing pleasure!

As for today, we made a visit to Matt's grandma (who has long suffered from Alzheimer's) and is in a nursing home in Cleveland. I first met her when I was pregnant so we were happy that a year later she was able to meet Lilly and Diana. She really seemed to understand who they were and was delighted at seeing smiling happy babies! Actually, Lil and Di were a BIG hit with many people at the nursing home! Lilly was very fond of Grammy B and loved poking her face and pulling her nose.
